The first place on my trip to Auckland that I feel like I have really gotten my money's worth. Two corn fritters (fresh, in season corn), two eggs over easy, bacon, fried tomato, side salad and a pot of good tea all for $20 or so. All delicious. Great service, too.
What a wonderful place to meet and eat. This "cozy" place takes coffee shops to the next level, not only offering great coffee but home cooked meals. I had the chicken omelet and not only did it meet my expectations, but the presentation and service was wonderful. I am from the US and it is the first meal I have had in New Zealand and it has made my morning.
I had 30 minutes to wait for the bus so I decided to pop in to the closest cafe and grab a bite. So glad I stumbled upon the cozy cafeteria! The cheesecake was divine and the girl at the counter was very friendly. They even offered to turn on the heat lamp outside for me. Will be back if I'm in the area again!!
Missed the train this morning so I used the half an hour wait for the next one to pop into this little cafe for a morning coffee and was tempted by the savoury scone that was backed full of red peppers, cheese and other yummy flavours. The Alpress coffee was perfect, strong hot and a great price. This cute little spot looked like it attracted a few regulars.
Cozy's is great! It's just like getting a home cooked meal but for reasonable prices...especially compared to other cafés nearby that charge more $ for similar meals. Their veggie grill has all my fav things: eggs(free range )toast,hash browns,spinach,avocado & tomato...all for $16!! This place isn't trendy but the owner James is always very accommodating for anything you want to change on the menu...fast service too! I eat here at least once a week!!
went for brunch on a Sunday, place filled up quickly. Simple menu but something for everyone with a specials board and delish looking counter food. we had a toddler in tow, they were quick to offer a high chair and box of toys. We will definitely return. great attentive service from happy staff....no attitude here!
We went to this cafe for Sunday brunch. We ordered a cappuccino and latte. Both coffees were great, smooth and not bitter like some places. The staff are really friendly also. I order the veggie grill which came with eggs, hash browns, avocado, tomato, delicious creamy mushrooms and toast. The portion size is pretty large but the food is very good and v fresh. The cost of the breakfast is very reasonable at 16.90. We will definitely be returning here. Great local cafe
First time at this place and all I can say is 'divine'. Love the presentation. I had the 'Big Breakfast' and it was very filling. Lots to choose from the menu and they also have a cabinet too. Owners are friendly key to great service. Definitely will be back again to try something different. It's a quirky little place but has a great feel to it.
